Bill Jablonski's great "Why Resistance Is Essential" video that has been reposted on more than 40 Websites--here on Washington's Blog.

On October 18, 2012, Washington's Blog brought out extensive video and photos of U.S. troops protecting Afghan farmers' growing of opium.

On October 15, 2012 Kevin Ryan continued his unveiling of lies and crimes that have enabled the fraudulent " 'War on Terror' ". Kevin's Dig Within blog relates that the Palestinian known as Abu Zubaydah, held in Guantanamo and even more barbaric 'black sites' of torture' since 2002 and represented by scores of United States' officials as a terrorist mastermind--"chief of operations for Al Qaeda," said George W. Bush in 2006--was acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2009 to actually have had no association whatever with Al Qaeda. Abu Zubayhad remains in the Guantanamo prison-camp though his attorneys demand in platforms as popular as the Washington Post that he be charged and tried. That Abu Zubaydah suffered brain injuries in 1992 that left him unable to remember his mother's name may have in fact encouraged the U.S. Government to waterboard him an admitted 83 times in one month; Abu Zubaydah may have appeared to the likes of Donald Rumsfeld and and Michael Hayden John Yoo an easy target for producing 'confessions.'
